MERCASA Ventures is a Northern California-based real estate investment company led by Lorenzo Mercado, a dedicated investor, entrepreneur, and podcast host. What began as a journey in residential redevelopment has evolved into a focused pursuit of boutique hotel acquisitions across California’s most iconic and underappreciated drive-to markets.

Our Network & Mentorship

Lorenzo is an active member of a hospitality investing community that collectively owns over 40 hotels nationwide. He is also personally coached by Rich Somers, founder of Somers Capital, who currently owns multiple hotels in California and manages a growing hospitality investment fund.
